Movement-Based Mental Health

Move the Body.
Reset the Mind.

PsyReset is a new way of approaching mental health, transforming traditional therapy into a movement-based experience where healing moves beyond the chair and into the body.

Why It's
Called PsyReset

The concept is inspired by the "reset shot" in pickleball a strategic shot used when the game becomes intense. Instead of hitting harder, players slow the game down, regain control, and bring the rally back into balance. PsyReset applies this same principle to mental well-being. When life becomes overwhelming, the goal is not to push harder, but to reset the system through movement, awareness, and connection between the body and the mind.

The Science

The Science Behind PsyReset

PsyReset is built on the understanding that the body and mind regulate each other. Movement, social interaction, and structured activity activate systems in the brain that support emotional balance and mental well-being.

Movement and Nervous System Regulation
Physical movement can help the nervous system shift out of stress responses and into more regulated states.
Social Connection
Participating in structured activities with others supports connection, belonging, and emotional well-being.
Reward and Motivation Systems
Activity and engagement stimulate brain systems related to motivation, participation, and positive reinforcement.
Body-Mind Awareness
Movement-based experiences can help individuals reconnect with bodily awareness, which plays an important role in emotional regulation.
